In 2019, the UN Global E-Waste Monitor estimated that the world generates 53.6 million tonnes of e-waste annually. This number has continued to rise, with Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) becoming the fastest growing waste stream.

E-waste is one of the most toxic and harmful types of waste, posing substantial risks for both humans and the environment.

In Guiyu, China, home of the largest e-waste disposal site, lead levels in various water sources were found to be 2,400 times higher than World Health Organization (WHO) Drinking Water Guidelines. Similarly, stillbirths in Guiyu occurred 4 times more frequently than in Xiamen.

When your lease agreement with Cinch has been completed, you have a number of options available to you, which include:

Cinch is firmly committed to responsible e-waste management. We collaborate exclusively with ISO 14001 and NEA-certified e-waste disposal vendors, ensuring that all discarded electronics are processed, recycled, and disposed of with utmost security and environmental consciousness.

Additionally, we take stringent measures to ensure that all data on devices is completely wiped, upholding our commitment to safeguarding client confidentiality while championing eco-responsible practices.

Upholding the highest standards of data privacy is integral to our operations. While we highly recommend that users initiate a factory reset before returning devices, an additional layer of data wiping is conducted during our refurbishment phase for enhanced security.

We are also advancing towards implementing GDPR-compliant data erasure systems that will soon offer users a certificate confirming the secure deletion of their data, which is another pillar of our commitment to data protection.

  2. Select your device, quantity and lease term
  3. Check out to submit your order for approval
  4. Upon order approval, we will secure the requested devices and deliver it to your location of choice thereafter

Orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours after receiving all necessary KYC documents. We will then send price quotations for the requested products within three days.

Once both parties agree on the order and pricing, the delivery timeline will be determined based on the order volume and our current stock. Delivery can range from several working days for smaller orders to up to eight weeks for larger ones.

To initiate your lease application, you must submit your ACRA BizFile and detailed company information via MyInfo Business. For substantial orders, additional documentation may be required to facilitate the underwriting process.

Such documents could encompass bank statements, audited financial reports, and identification for the company directors to ensure a comprehensive understanding of your financial standing.
